LOST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
All lost property found at Kingston Butter Factory or Logan Entertainment Centre is stored securely at the venue.
If you have lost property during a visit to one of our venues, please email entertainment@logan.qld.gov.au or call the box office on 3412 5626 between 9.30am – 4.30pm on business days.
Handling Unclaimed Items
At our venues, we take the management of lost property seriously to ensure that all items are handled responsibly and securely. Below is our process for dealing with lost items which remain unidentified and unclaimed.
Destruction of Sensitive Items
Bank Cards and Credit Cards: Any lost bank cards or credit cards will be reported through to the issuing bank and will be securely destroyed to prevent any potential misuse.
Valuable Assets
Valuable items such as phones and computers that remain unclaimed after 3 months will be taken to the Logan Central QPS station. These items will be logged as formal lost property to ensure they are properly documented and handled.
Clothing and Other Items
Clothing and other non-valuable items that are not claimed within a period of 3 months will be donated to charity.
Record Keeping
We maintain a physical register to track the status of all lost property items. This register is updated regularly to reflect the following actions:
- Items taken to the QPS station
- Items donated to charity
By keeping detailed records, we ensure transparency and accountability in our lost property management process.
