Admission Information for Kingston Butter Factory (KBF) Cultural Precinct.
General Rules
Ticketed Events for 18+
- If you’re 18 or older, bring one of these IDs:
- Australian driver licence or learner permit
- Passport (any country)
- Adult proof of age card
- Recognised proof of age card (e.g. Keypass identity card)
- Foreign driver licence
- IDs can be either hard copy or digital ID
- No suitable ID? You might be refused entry without a refund.
All Ages Ticketed Events
- Everyone needs a valid ticket.
- Rules:
- Adults must accompany children under the age of 18.
- Every patron needs a valid ticket, regardless of age, unless specified for an event.
Admission for Non-Ticketed Events
- Once the venue is full, no more admissions. Arrive early and together to avoid disappointment.
Scalping and Resale
- Avoid buying from unauthorised resellers to prevent losing money and missing out.
- You may be refused entry with invalid tickets from scalpers.
General Admission
- Mostly standing room on grassed area
Permitted Items
- You can bring:
- Sealed, unopened soft plastic water bottles up to 600ml
- Empty soft plastic water bottles up to 600ml for filling at free water stations (lids removed, event dependent)
- Rugs and blankets, small camp chairs (event/capacity dependent)
- Working guide dogs and assistance dogs
- Strollers (event dependent)
Non-Permitted Items
- Leave these at home:
- Backpacks, bags larger than A4 size
- Domestic animals (except guide/assistance dogs)
- Fireworks
- Large flashlights, laser pointers
- Selfie sticks, skateboards
- Umbrellas, video/audio recorders, weapons
- Any items considered harmful
Entry Conditions
- Bags will be searched. Personal safety and security searches are mandatory.
- Leave prohibited items at home. Illegal items will be confiscated.
- Don’t stand on bins or fences to avoid injuries.
- No camping on or near KBF grounds
Passouts
- No passouts under any circumstances.
Bad Weather Policy
Kingston Butter Factory’s main stage is outdoors. Shows proceed in rain or bad weather unless deemed unsafe. No refunds unless the event is cancelled.
COVID-19 Information
- Even though the Public Health Emergency has ended, please:
- Wash hands and use sanitizer regularly
- Consider wearing a face mask
- Cough/sneeze into your elbow and dispose of tissues responsibly
- Stay home if unwell
- Practise physical distancing where possible
- Follow signage and staff advice
- Respect everyone’s space and right to feel safe
- Have a fun, safe, and enjoyable time!
