Get Up and Have a Go!
This Comedy Open Mic Night is a chance for aspiring comedians to see if they’ve got what it takes to make an audience laugh! This is the second of 3 open mic nights that will be held in our comedy series for 2025. Emceeing the event is the very funny Jemma Bayley.

Jemma Bayley’s whimsical and deeply twisted comedy makes her one of the most exciting emerging talents in Australia. She’s the embodiment of ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’. If she was a book, it would be named ‘Jemma’s 10 Steps to Bliss’ and be a pop-up book full of darkness and glitter. Her comedy is best described as a spoon full of sugar before the medicine goes down served by a naughty nurse. Come on a journey with her… as she pursues her insatiable thirst for human hearts to mend them or break them, who knows? |
It’s the perfect opportunity for local comedians to enter the spotlight. Registrations for this event have closed but you can email entertainment@logan.qld.gov.au to register for the following Comedy Open Mic Night on Friday 24 October.
The next Comedy@The Butter Factory on Saturday 28 June features international comedians including Khaled Khalafalla, Jo Gowda, Jack Knight and emcee Mick Dwyer.
Come along to cheer on a friend or enjoy a night of laughter while supporting local and emerging comedians.
The Comedy Open Mic Night is held in the mezzanine area of KBF.
