Our key venues for arts and culture offer year-round cultural experiences.
Planning your visit
There are few experiences that fire the imagination like a trip to the theatre.
We are excited to welcome you to our venues. The information below will help you plan your visit.
How to book
Follow these five easy steps:
Step 1. Complete booking form
All bookings are required to complete the booking form. Please complete and submit the online schools booking form, or call 3412 5626 to make your booking over the phone.
For after-hours enquiries email entertainment@logan.qld.gov.au
Bookings are made in strict order of receipt of the booking form and are subject to show availability.
Step 2. Confirmation and invoicing
We will reserve your booking and invoice the school. You can request changes to student numbers up to 2 weeks prior to the performance (subject to availability).
Student tickets are discounted at $15 per student (unless otherwise specified). Teachers receive complimentary seating on a 10:1 ratio.
Step 3. Payment
Full payment is due a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the show date. At this stage student numbers are final. Bookings cannot be held if your final payment is not received by the due date and the reservation will be released.
An increase of numbers is possible after the final payment day and is subject to availability.
Step 4. Final confirmation sent to schools
A confirmation letter including your allocation within the theatre will be issued instead of individual tickets.
Step 5. Attend and enjoy!
Schools will be asked to enter the theatre as a group. We advise arriving at the venue approximately 30 mins prior to your performance.
During your visit
For some students this may be their first experience with live theatre. For many, this can be very exciting and we want you and your students, as well as all the other patrons coming to the theatre, to have the best theatre experience possible. If it is likely that your students are unfamiliar with general theatre etiquette (or even if they are and might need reminding) we strongly suggest going over it with them in preparation for your excursion, and discussing why the following things are important.
- Mobile phones should be switched off whilst in the theatre.
- Responding to and interacting with the performers on stage in an appropriate way is encouraged, but talking loudly during inappropriate moments or in ways that may disturb other patrons is strongly discouraged.
- In the event of an emergency, please follow any evacuation procedures which will be led by front of house staff.
- Please remember to collect all your belongings when leaving the venue.
Parking
There are designated coach parking bays at LEC and KBF Cultural Precinct with safe and accessible drop off areas for your students.

Eat and drink
Refreshments are available at the LEC kiosk. Food or drink purchased from the kiosk is allowed into performances, but should be consumed discreetly and all rubbish should be disposed of in the bins provided.
A cafe is located at the KBF Cultural Precinct. For more information visit Devon Pixies Teahouse.
If your students are going to be eating their lunch before they return to school, there is a large grassed area at KBF Cultural Precinct and also at the front of the LEC. Logan Gardens is just a short walk from the LEC and offers shaded seating.
